Project Manager/Super

Duties include but not limited to:
To supervise and manage all phases of mechanical/HVAC projects in Vancouver and surrounding area. Candidate must have a minimum of 5-year construction management experience on supervising the workers and coordinating with clients, engineer and (sub) contractors. Duties involves project material take-off, project deliverable study and scope of work development; scheduling; recording time sheet , daily progress reports; submittals and RFIs preparation, creating change orders; conduct or attend progress meetings; on-site staff supervision; work quality and safety control.

Junior Estimator

Key Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Review drawings (including equipment schedules and details) to get familiar with the different systems on the project. Identify the different systems on the project (ductwork may include – High / medium pressure supply, low pressure supply, general exhaust, toilet exhaust, lab exhaust, kitchen exhaust, return air, outside air, make up air, etc) (piping may include – chilled water, condenser water, hot water, glycol, refrigeration, fuel oil, etc).

  • Review mechanical demolition plans, and new work plans. Distinguish new work from existing.

  • Review all notes, symbols, and abbreviations on all mechanical drawings.

  • Review mechanical specifications to identify the construction (including but not limited to: ductwork construction, piping / valve materials and construction, acoustic lining requirements, etc) of the different systems on the project.

  • Review specifications and drawings for hours of work.

  • Perform duct and pipe take off of each system separately.

  • Assist Head Estimator on the administrative assignment.

Journeyman

Key Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Review drawings (including equipment schedules and details) to get familiar with the different systems on the project.

  • Have strong knowledge of mechanical systems
